Ski and Snowboard Club
Middleton High School Ski and Snowboard Club
The Ski and Snowboard program has 3 goals:
- Provide a safe environment on the slopes in which to participate
- Encourage students to represent and compete for Middleton High School in a lifetime sports activity
- Provide a level of competition in which the maximum number of students can participate
Students can compete in Nordic, Ski and Snowboard Freestyle, and Ski and Snowboard Slalom. All races are categorized as novice, intermediate, advanced or expert depending on ability level. Students compete in 6 Saturday races each season January through February advancing each qualifying athlete to the Dotty Clark High School Championships where kids can medal and compete for team points and the overall team championship. Middleton competes in the large school category.
