Mr. Weston McGhee

Hello! My name is Weston McGhee and this is my third year teaching at Middleton High School. I have attended two universities in which I earned my credentials to become an art teacher. I graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in photography. A few years later I went back to school at Northwest Nazarene University where I earned my teacher certification. Currently I am in progress with my masters degree and expect to graduate in May 2022! 

While I enjoy all mediums of art, I am most passionate about photography. Previously I was a freelance photographer, where I enjoyed photographing people, places, and moments that either I or others found special. Ever since I took my first art class in elementary school I’ve enjoyed the subject so much. I became a teacher because I felt a calling to serve and give back to the art community and teach what I’ve learned both academically and personally to love. I look forward to meeting you and seeing you in our studio!
