Mrs. Kelly Phillips

My name is Kelly Phillips, and I am excited to be joining the Middleton team this year! I graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education speech communications. Prior to attending Boise state, I attended Southwest Oregon Community College and the University of Montana Western where I played volleyball and basketball. I taught and coached for 7 years  prior to making the transition into Middleton. My husband, I and our three kids recently relocated to Middleton from Nampa and are excited to be part of the great community of Middleton.

Outside of school I like to spend my time with my family, being outdoors, kayaking, playing basketball, and reading.

Speech can be a challenging subject for many as we face our fears and struggles with speech and social anxieties. Through this course students will gain skills to help them manage and or overcome these. Speaking skills are a huge aspect of our everyday life and we need them to be successful. I hope to help students understand this and develop the needed skills to be successful.
