Ms. Brittany Spangler
Growing up in North Idaho on a hobby farm, I was raised around horses, cattle, pigs, goats and all the farm work you could imagine. Those experiences have provided me with a vast blended agricultural background. I was heavily involved in 4-H for 10+ years and FFA for all 4 years of high school.
Along with my background in Ag, I dipped my toe in the industry for about 3 years welding out of a fabrication shop in college. This opportunity is where I obtained the time under the hood that has proven priceless when teaching students shop and welding. In this welding job, I specialized in TIG, GMAW, SMAW, plasma arc as well as lathe operation and some machining experience. I am skilled in all welding processes, which include: SMAW,GTAW, GMAW, OXY welding/cutting, and Plasma arc.
I earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Agriculture Education from the University of Idaho in May of 2022. My qualifications include teaching classes in agriculture welding shop, parliamentary procedure, introduction to agriculture, animal science, plant science, vet science, horticulture and introduction to livestock. Other qualifications include FFA Career Development Event (C.D.E) team coaching and advising the FFA chapter and Supervised Agriculture Experiences. My areas of strength and expertise in teaching are welding/fabrication, livetsock, and equine science.
